This Week's Blogs2Follow

Hope you're all off to a fabulous holiday weekend!

Wow I sure need the time to relax a bit, catch up on Ugly Betty Season Two (love that show!), read a bunch and write like a wanna-be bombshell word bandit. Okay...mission mostly accomplished...and I know the wanna-be bombshell thing is wayyyy out of reach but I am living a Skinny Bitch vegan lifestyle, so I'm on my way! Woot!

Note: If you haven't read the Skinny Bitch Book (by Rory Freedman & Kim Barnouin), it's a must-read! It will change your life forever, and I mean forever! Here's the link: www.skinnybitch.net/

Normally, I post my new Blogs2Follow on Sundays, but with the long weekend, I thought I'd post them early in case you had extra time to explore cyber space.

For this week's Blogs2Follow...I've visited and commented on these wonderful blogs this past week that really get to the heart of what writing romance and the publishing industry itself is all about. Here's the scoop:

Harlequin's 60th Bday Party...And The Winner Is...

Talk about Red Hot Days of Romance...well, that's exactly what we had Tuesday, August 25th, at the LaPorte County Public Library!

I was thrilled to be asked to participate in the library's event to honor Harlequin's 60th Bday and to celebrate the romance genre!

What fun it was too! We're talking live music, chocolate, a terrific local winery, an amazing florist, tons of fabulous books to swap, way beyond wonderful readers and librarians championing romance.

Here's a sneak peek at the event (and following the peek, I'll announce the winner of my Escape Into Romance Gift basket):
